Composite bridges are playing a more important role in the infrastructure market. Because of this the engineers department of the city of Rotterdam ordered a study on the InfraCore concept. In this way the city would gain more insight in the qualities of this material, which is considered necessary to keep up with the future developments. The study was at the request of the city of Rotterdam and performed by two students as their graduation project at the Hogeschool Rotterdam (HTS). They - Mogadas Sayed and William Schutte - successfully concluded their study. They not only were rewarded with a 10 - the highest score possible - but Mr. Schutte was also offered a position at the engineers department. Mr. Sayed will further develop his knowledge on composites at the Technical University in Delf.
